前天与一位Penang朋友用Skype談話，知道她特地去买microphone装上电腦和我交談。我们談了约将近一个小時，之前在Penang似乎都沒这样多话，但現在却好像说不完。要不是Penang时间已是太晚，约一點了，我看不知还要談多几个小时…

她觉得因為我的离开，所以让我们群中的朋友更有话題联系。我想应该是因為我樂於将我的生活思想与大家分享吧，通過先进的电子纲，设立yahoogroups (是给爱心福利中心的朋友)及图文並茂的blog，大家可以在不同的时空交流。就像我即使离开Penang，遠在16,000公哩的另一个土地，也可通過彼此认识的文字，真情的表達。文字的力量确實不可思啊！當我覺得彼此是在真诚分享交流时，这种感覺就像我们近在咫尺！

这是我的感覺，我不知道你也有这种感觉嗎？

I talked with a friend in Penang by Skype yesterday, and knew that she purposely bought a microphone for her computer so we can talk. We talked a lot, around 1 hour; we never talked so long when we were in Penang. We were not ready to end the conversation, but it was already near to 1am there. Had it not been so late for her, I think we would have continued talking a few more hours…

She felt she is getting closes to our friends because they have a common topic to talk about: my US life. I think it is because I am enjoying sharing my thoughts with all of you. Since the technology is so advanced, I have created yahoogroups (for friends of the Mitra Welfare Center) and articles in my blog. Thus, we can communicate across space and time. As for me, I am far away in another land, 16,000km from Penang, but we still can use the same language to express the feelings in our hearts. The power of words is really unbelievable! And I feel we are so close when we are sincere in sharing our thoughts!
