Sample Only Not For Sale

在St. Louis，如果要在Asian或Chinese store買到Malaysia的產品，可以说很＇希罕＇…就像kaya。當我们在某間store看到它時，真是高興極了… 仔细觀察一看，罐蓋上印着Sample Only Not For Sale！架子上只有三罐擺着…但是它們卻是擺在销售架子上，而且還有標价 (US$1.89) 啊！我们一一拿在手里看遍整樽罐以确定產品过期日…但无法找到它！這间store真是很＇猖狂＇… 買还是不買呢？衝量之后还是買吧！谁叫我们 (Steve在Penang吃過kaya，他覺得好吃) 如此＇求之若渴＇呢？

幸虧买回来的kaya品質還好…如果已不好不能吃了，如果你是我，你會去投訴嗎？

It is very rare to find Malaysian products in Asian or Chinese stores at St. Louis… like ‘kaya’ (coconut milk jam). We felt happy when we found it in a store… when we looked carefully at the lid of the bottle, it has printed ‘Sample Only Not For Sale’! They only had 3 bottles on the shelf…but there was a price tag (US$1.89) on the selling shelf! We looked for expiration date on all of the jars…but couldn’t find any! This store is really ‘crazy’… To buy or not to buy? We finally bought one! Why? Steve tasted it while in Penang and he liked it, so we both wanted it.

Luckily, it tasted good when we got it home… If not, and you were me, would you go complain to them?
