July 4th is a holiday in the US, Steve and I cooked hot & spicy ‘steam boat’ at home…haha! We used a rice cooker as the ‘steam boat’! That was because we don’t have a ‘steam boat’ yet… This was the first day we used the rice cooker, but we also needed it to cook rice -- really hard for it! The hot & spicy paste was from a Chinese store here, I felt it was too spicy, even though I can stand spicy food, but Steve didn’t think it was spicy at all. I think he is suitable to live in an Asia country… You see, he can use chopsticks so well…
We had nothing to do that night, so we turned on the TV and it had live events on a few channels… Ah…it was Independence Day celebrations. Another channel had the live celebration in St. Louis (our city), wow… what wonderful fireworks and I think it took about half an hour (fireworks are expensive…but the US is a rich country). Em…why were we bored sitting at home instead of at the celebration?
