I broke a tiny ring of my new bracelet and it became an open gap, so I asked Steve whether he had a small pair of pliers. He went down to the basement and came back up with pliers for me. In his hands were several other things. Then I found out that he had taken a class to learn to make jewelry about 15 years ago. He still has some tools and books in the basement for making jewelry. He doesn’t like to wear jewelry but he likes to make it! I tell you, he also learned to make knitted woolen things several years ago!
He took out the silver chains that he made about 15 years ago. I said I wanted one of them to be my bracelet, so we went to buy a sterling silver clasp, and he finally made it into a bracelet after 15 years.
