2007的最后一天，我收到两封從 California USCIS 的信，一封 28/12寄出的信通知我的永久居留（PR）申请已批准，三个星期内会收到 PR 卡; 一封29/12寄出的新居民指南及附上我的 PR 卡。Wow…让我很驚喜美国政府公务員办事的效率！
我的 PR 卡是两年效期，效期滿前須另做申请正式的居民证，这是程序。
呀呼…我可以出国了！
On the last day of 2007, I received two letters from USCIS, California. One letter, dated December 28, notifying me that my application for permanent residence had been approved, and that I should receive my PR card within the next 3 weeks. The other letter, dated December 29, contained a guide for new immigrants and my PR card. Wow…it surprised me that the staff of the American government is very efficient!
My PR card will expire after two years, and we have to apply for a new card before the expiration date. It is procedure.
Yahoo…I can travel overseas!
