話說上星期五收到信,要我在10月15日去有關部門測定我的身份,當天收到信時,又喜又憂。喜的是可盡早辦好這些程序,就可早點拿到綠卡,那就可以出國,可能農歷新年可回Penang。憂的是我們已訂了10月10–17日去Hawaii。Steve 打電話詢問可否延遲航期,给的答案是到21日都没有空缺。辦理測定身份的信中注明,要改约定期須寄回此信,然后等待另一约定期的信。我抱着希望對Steve說,“St. Louis的人都很友善,如果我帶身份証直接去有關部門,也許遇到好人可直接做測定我的身份。”
今天早上起身,我就向宇宙發送信息﹕今天我會去有關部門,並很順利的遇到好人直接為我做測定身份。
我發送的信息果然有效,就是那么的幸運讓我遇上一位友善親切的女職員!10月1日做了此程序,也意謂比較快,省了两星期,不用等到15日。

This morning after I woke up, I sent a message to the universe: Today I will go to the appointment office and I will succeed in meeting a kind person to do my biometrics on the spot.
It really worked; the message I sent to the universe worked. We were lucky and met a kind staff lady! On Oct 1, I did this process, and it means I didn’t have wait until the 15th; it was done two weeks early.
