我自認是一个品德還算‘好’的人，但是有几次Steve的話，却让我无地自容！
有一天，在某間店有售卖盆栽，我看到很可爱的绿色花形狀般的仙人掌類，但我覺得价錢很貴，所以捨不得買。我欣賞觀察它们一陣，該類盆栽，每盆都生有很多大小不異的＇绿色花朵＇。我發現有一盆几朵很小的已脫离整栽，我拾了一小朵，好玩的關在手掌心。我問Steve，“我可以帶它回家嗎？” “No, 我會感到愧疚。我們可以買一盆。” 他回覆说。
有幾次我告訴Steve，綱上有很多免費下載的書、電影… 他都没什么反应。有一次，我們看到某綱站可下載Harry Potter的電影。他搖搖頭說，“那是違法的。”
這一方面的道德，我真的是要向他學習！
勿以善小而不為﹔勿以惡小而為之。
I considered my morals to be ‘good’, but a few times in conversations with Steve, I’ve felt ashamed!
One day, we were in a store that sells plants. I saw a very cute cactus, which was shaped like a green flower, but I thought the price was too expensive. I was looking at them a little while; that plant looked like many different sizes of ‘green flowers’ together in every pot. I found a few tiny ‘flowers’ were loose from one of the plants. I picked one and put it in my closed palm. I asked Steve, “Can it come back home with me?” “No, I will feel guilty. We can buy one of the plants.” he replied.
A few times, I told Steve about free downloads of books and movies from the web… He never responded. One time, we were looking at a link to download Harry Potter movies, he shook his head, “That’s illegal.”
I need to learn from him regarding these ethics!
“Don’t think a small bad thing and do it; don’t think a small good thing and not to do it.”
