Beautiful

幾個星期后，佛光山temple旁的假山弄好了…水流從上流到下流，然后到水池。
“阿葉，請你不要摭住我！让我照個亮像嘛！”
“阿蓮呀！請你不要嫌棄我，只因為有我，才能衬托出你的美麗呵！”
如往常般，我＇陪＇Steve上中文課。老師每次在班上都會讓洋學生們各自學習用詞。有一次，老師講一句中文，要學生們講成英文 (我想老師是要看他們是否聽懂一些中文) 。“有多少人住在密蘇里？” “How many people live in Missouri?” 一位學生作答。“你有女朋友嗎？” 這句輪到Steve, 他很快的說，“没有！” 我在他旁邊忍不住笑出聲…

A couple of weeks later, the waterfall at the side of the Fo Guang Shan temple is working… water flows from the upper part to the lower part, and then falls down into the pool.

“Leaf, please don’t cover me! I want to have a pretty picture!”

“Water lily, please don’t avoid me, you look beautiful because of me!”

As usual, I went to the Chinese class with Steve. The teacher wanted each of the students to practice speaking some Chinese in class. One time, the teacher said something in Chinese and wanted them to translate it into English (I think the teacher wanted to know if they understood the Chinese words or not). “有多少人住在密蘇里？” “How many people live in Missouri?” One of them did it. Then he asked Steve, “你有女朋友嗎？” He responded quickly, “没有！(No!)” (He was supposed to say, “Do you have a girlfriend?”) I was beside him and I couldn’t control my laughter…
