Thai durian

我之前發現某Asian store有賣泰国的冰凍榴槤，Steve问我要不要，但我自鳴清高说，“我不在乎泰国榴槤，它們不比Penang榴槤好吃。” 去了多次，但從未買榴槤。

有一天，我終於想通及屈服的對Steve说，“如果有去Asian store，我想要買榴槤，有得吃泰国冰凍榴槤，好過没！”

Asian store有賣兩種冰凍榴槤，一種是帶殼整粒的。我選了另一种種，是無殼無籽盒裝的… 嗯！還好，味道當然比不上Penang榴槤，不過至少让我解一點瘾…

“你要吃嗎？” 我知道Steve不喜歡但还是假假的問。他说，“我让你享受每一口的榴槤…”

哼…如果那是他喜歡吃的食物，他一定不会这么说！

I found an Asian store selling frozen durians from Thailand before, Steve has been asking me whether I want one. I have high expectation and said, “I don’t care about durian from Thailand; they do not taste good compared to Penang’s durian.” Even though we went there many times, I never bought one.

However, I became convinced and surrendered to it one day. I told Steve, “If we go to the Asian store again, I want to buy a durian. Having frozen durian from Thailand is better than none at all!”

This Asian store has two types of frozen durian; one is a whole fruit with the shell. I chose the other one, without the shell and seed, packed in box… Um! Not bad; of course the taste is not as good as Penang’s durian. At least, I satisfied a little bit of my craving for durian.

“Do you want to eat a little?” I know Steve doesn’t like it but I still asked. He said, “I’d rather you enjoy every single bite of durian…”

Hmm…he never says that if it’s his favorite food!
