A little in common

We had a lunch gathering in our house. Three white men and three Chinese women, these are the three couples. 

We seem to have a little in common. However, the Chinese women are all from different countries. 

I am from Malaysia and I can speak Mandarin, Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese. 

One of them is from Taiwan and can speak Mandarin and Taiwanese (similar to Hokkien). 

The other is from Hong Kong and speaks Cantonese. 

We chat in English, just sometimes I will help them interpret some words in Mandarin or Cantonese. 

That is fun. 

我們邀請朋友到我家聚餐。三個男白人三個女華人，三對夫婦。
我們有一些共同點，不過三個女華人來自不同國家。 
我來自馬來西亞，能說華語、福建話、潮州話、廣東話。
其中一位來自台灣，能說華語、台語（類似福建話）。
另一位來自香港，能說廣東話。
我們用英語聊天，有時我會幫他們翻譯華語或廣東話。
很有趣。
