US - Zion National Park

Our Canyons trip started from Las Vegas airport and ended at the Phoenix airport.

A bright red rental car for 8 days.

First entrance is Zion National Park.

We bought an Annual pass for $80 for all National Parks.

Oh.. when we were in Tunnel, those holes in the cliff are the windows to let in light.

Yeah, we can see the patterns in stone.

We stayed a night in Kanab, UT.

Holiday Inn Express (room rate included tax $100.74), very nice hotel.

US - Las Vegas

A night in Las Vegas

Bill's Gamblin House upgraded us to a suite instead of the room we booked when we checked in, it was nice.

There was a film crew shooting that night.

Several times people jumped from helicopters, coming down by parachute over the fountain and landing on the main street, which had been closed to traffic.

Pretty cool!

Before heading to the hotel, I found $20 on a walkway outside of the mall.

I must be lucky.

走不远，竟拾到$20钞票。真好运。

Anyway, I donated the $20 to fundraising for hurricane 'Sandy' for the person who lost the money.

我为失主把$20捐给美东的风灾了。

US - Enchanted Rock

Enchanted Rock located in Texas.

Entrance ticket is $6 for adult.

There is desert and can easily see cacti growing around, but I hadn't seen cacti with fruit before.

And two heart shape of cacti together.

We visited Enchanted Rock after we attended my niece's wedding in Austin.

"If a bag of inner peas is opened in the forest and no one is there to hear it open, do they get eaten?"
"假如一包inner peas在森林裡撕開了而沒有人在附近聽見，它們有沒有被吃？"

This is a bag of snacks named Inner Peas, that must be a play on words from inner peace.
When I opened the bag, I saw and I didn't understand these words printed where you tear the bag open. I read it for Steve. Steve laughed and said it was a play on the question:
'If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?'
這是一包零食名Inner Peas，巧用inner peace。
我撕開包裝零食時，看到包裝口處印著以上的小句子，我不明白的讀出來給Steve聽。
Steve笑說，實際是巧用這問句:
'假如一棵樹在森林裡倒下而沒有人在附近聽見，它有沒有發出聲音？'
