Once upon a time
很早很早以前


A city lady
有位城市女


Walked through the park
走在樹林小徑


She saw a big frog
她看到一隻又大又肥的青蛙


She kissed the frog
不禁吻了一下


Truly
果然
Frog became a prince
青蛙變成又白又胖的相公


They lived
他們從此過著
Ordinarily ever after 
柴米油鹽的日子

    I think you're right, Sin E. The saying is just a cute way of meaning that you have to look through a lot of men who are not the right one, before you finally find the right one.
